Amarok is a handpan solo project rooted in rhythm and melody. With a background in drumming and percussion, his music combines layered rhythms and evolving melodies to create pieces that are both dynamic and expressive. Designer of the Nordlys — developed in collaboration with Manik — Amarok introduced a scale that has gained recognition within the handpan community for its distinctive color and balance. His compositions are often shaped by stories and contrast, moving between energy and stillness, structure and openness. Alongside performances and teaching, Amarok is currently developing a new long-form project that expands his sound with extended compositions and additional instruments, soon to be presented on stage.
